Ghosts of Gone Birds

As most of my friends know, I am the very definition of philistine, so it may come as a surprise to hear that I went to see the Ghosts of Gone Birds exhibition in Shoreditch.  I'd expected it to be a hotbed of pretentious arty-farty nonsense; it was arty and, in some cases, farty, but it was in no way pretentious.  I came away with a completely different view to that I'd expected to come away with.  A lot of the artwork was stunning; a lot was thought-provoking; much of it was both.  While we were there, we also had the chance to speak to Ceri & Chris, creators of Ghosts and ask them about the project, the artwork, Ceri's recent trip to Malta, and what they set out to achieve with Ghosts and where they want to take it next.  It's a great exhibition and one that I'd suggest you try and visit if you're passing by.  Yes, shocking words to come out of my mouth, I know...
